The Folsom Tourism Bureau’s is dedicated to the marketing of Folsom as a destination for visitors. This includes promotion of the city’s attributes in addition to creating an infrastructure for providing information, tour packages, events and other aspects necessary for a quality visitor experience.

The Folsom Tourism Bureau is funded through a Business Improvement District approved by the City of Folsom and its hotel partners. The desired result of this tourism funding is to generate incremental room nights in the city’s hotels.

Folsom Economic Development Corporation

The Folsom Economic Development Corporation, or FEDCorp, is a 501(c)3 organization whose purpose is to attract, retain and help expand business in Folsom. Bringing together leaders from the private and public sectors, FEDCorp works behind the scenes to foster a business-friendly climate in Folsom and along the Highway 50 Economic Corridor.

FEDCorp has a proven track record of success, securing the expansion or attraction of major employers such as; Intel, Kikkoman, Verizon, IBS-US and Maximus. In 2008 FEDCorp led the charge for the revitalization of Historic Sutter Street, illustrating FEDCorp’s ability to engage stakeholders for innovative solutions.

Folsom Film Commission

Folsom Film Commision

The Folsom Film Commission offers assistance to filmmakers and raises awareness for film in Folsom. Recent film projects span from national reality TV shows including Yard Crashers, Eva Longoria’s Ready for Love and home-grown independent projects like Bloodline and Dangerous Waters.

The Film Commission’s efforts, led by the Folsom Tourism Bureau since 2011, have included: site assistance, liaison with City officials, public relations and referrals for services including lodging, production assistance, editing space, equipment rentals and catering.

JobsPAC is a non-partisan Folsom Chamber of Commerce’s Political Action Committee (PAC) involved in influencing the outcome of elections that impact Folsom’s employers and our community’s quality of life.

Since membership dues cannot be used for campaign contributions, JobsPAC was formed to serve the political interests of its members.

Contributions are used to support candidates and political causes that will grow our local economy and protect jobs.
